DJ4Tango In the early 70´s I started a small collection of tangos consisting mainly of; old LPs, cassettes, and 78 RPM. In the early 90´s after retiring from my other hobby, futbol, I started to collect more tango music specifically the best of the GOLDEN ERA (1935-52). Unfortunately some of these jewels were unedited and the original copies destroyed or lost. Today’s technology and a lot of patience has allowed me to do some editing and compile a nearly complete discography of the best like; O.Pugliese, C.DiSarli, J. D’arienzo, A.Troilo, M.Calo, and the almost impossible task of completing the immense discography (2000 and +) of Director Francisco Canaro Orchestra Nowadays tango is exported to all around our planet and is going thru an evolution, like Jazz. Of course new groups and orchestras are recording but few are following the beauty of original of the music like; Color Tango (Ex-Pugliese members), Fernandez Fierro (Pugliese Style), Sans Souci (Calo Style), El Arranque (Pugliese Style), Milongueros Viejos (30’s Style) and Los Reyes del Tango (Dárienzo Style). Thank you for letting me share with you my humble collection, which I hope will be to your pleasure for enjoyment and dancing.
